In a survey of 10 construction management software providers conducted by Capterra in August 2026, safety hazard detection emerged as one of only three workflows that the industry expects AI to handle fully autonomously by 2027. The report, which covered AI adoption across estimating, scheduling, field reporting, cost control, and safety, found that earlier risk detection rather than automation is what construction AI delivers most reliably today, with the strongest evidence sitting in projects where AI flags emerging issues while there is still time to act.
viAct was among the 10 providers surveyed and was cited directly for its deployment outcomes: a 50% reduction in TRIR, 65% fewer lost-time injuries, and over US$2.5 million in accident-related savings across 400+ construction sites.
Across high-risk industries, the shift from periodic checks to continuous, real-time safety intelligence is no longer a roadmap item. It is already on record.
