viAct AI Delivers Measurable Safety Gains for Global Contractor Alliad in Côte d'Ivoire

At a remote healthcare construction site in Côte d'Ivoire, global construction and engineering operator Alliad deployed viAct's AI-powered video analytics across its existing camera infrastructure to continuously monitor PPE compliance, danger zone access, and fire and smoke risks in real time. Within three months, PPE non-compliances dropped by 41.7% and danger zone violations fell by 46.3%, with no additional cameras or hardware required. viAct's AI modules monitored four PPE types around the clock: safety helmet, safety vest, safety shoes, and gloves, enabling safety teams to identify and intervene on risks before they escalated.

The deployment also demonstrated the replication potential of layering AI onto existing infrastructure. The same camera feeds simultaneously monitored restricted zone access and fire hazard pre-conditions, giving Alliad complete real-time site visibility without adding headcount or overhauling any infrastructure already in place.
