viAct, CEDD and AECOM Collaboration Wins Silver Award at Hong Kong OSH Innovation and Technology Award 2026

A three-way collaboration between the Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD), AECOM, and viAct has been awarded the Silver Award for its Drone AI Safety Monitoring at the 2nd OSH Innovation and Technology Award, organised by the Occupational Safety and Health Council of Hong Kong. The award recognises outstanding innovation in occupational safety and health technology, and the joint entry reflects how AI-powered vision intelligence is being applied to one of the built environment's most technically demanding safety challenges.

The recognition places viAct alongside two of the most established names in infrastructure and engineering, and marks a significant milestone in the company's mission to embed AI-driven safety intelligence across the city's most complex and high-risk work environments.
